Camille Cellier

Camille Cellier (*1987) is a French photographer currently based in Berlin. She will be graduating from the Ostkreuz School of Photography in 2026. Camille mostly works analogue and likes to experiment with films while shooting or during the printing phase in the darkroom.  She is not afraid to embrace imperfections and technical accidents.

Her work explores the delicate balance between abstraction and the organic, often capturing the essence of creatures in a state of flux. Through the lens of analogue photography, the created images are both intimate and elusive. The grain and texture inherent to analogue photography lend a sense of rawness, while the blurred forms evoke a dreamlike quality, inviting the viewer to engage in a deeper, more personal interpretation.

Next to her photographic activities, Camille holds a medical degree. She is fascinated by the human body as well as the complexity of the human brain. Dreams, memories and phenomena of the conscious and the unconscious are one of her main sources of inspiration.
